MEET DR. LA TOYA DAVIS
I'm Dr. La Toya Davis, and for years, I lived what looked like the perfect life on paper. Successful career. Loving family. External achievements that checked all the boxes society told me mattered.
But inside? I felt constricted. Exhausted. Unfulfilled.
I was living from expectation—pleasing others, following formulas that never quite satisfied, performing a version of success that didn't align with who I actually was. I had climbed the ladder only to realize it was leaning against the wrong wall.
Deep down, I knew there was more. And I decided I would no longer play small.
THE BREAKING POINT
While going through my divorce, I was on a mission to reclaim the parts of myself I had lost—or more accurately, gave away—during my marriage. I felt stuck in self-sabotaging patterns I could not break, no matter how much I tried to think or will my way out of them.
I would catch myself replaying the same limiting thoughts, making choices from fear instead of truth, and feeling powerless to shift the cycle. The more I tried to think my way out, the more stuck I became. It was exhausting—like running on a treadmill that went nowhere.
My search for understanding led me down a path of self-discovery that centered around the Soul, Universal Consciousness, and the profound connection to neuroplasticity—the brain's ability to rewire itself.
THE DISCOVERY
That journey led me to the Akashic Records.
What I found there was more than comfort—it was clarity and a structure that brought me back to myself in the most empowered way. The Records showed me the patterns I had been living, the imprints I was carrying from my lineage, and most importantly, the truth of who I really was beneath all the conditioning.
I discovered why so many high-achieving women feel this disconnect, despite doing everything "right." Society taught us how to succeed but never taught us how to align. We were conditioned to check boxes and prove our worth, often at the cost of our soul's whispers.
That realization became the foundation of my healing, my empowerment, and ultimately the creation of CHI Healing Institute.
